Desiree Doubrox has been an entrepreneur from age 12. Brands she has founded include Marina Mermaid, A Models Media, Lookin’ Good Productions, and Celebrity Auctions—to name a few. In 2001, after a successful career in real estate, Desiree launched An Empowered Woman to encourage women to invest in real estate. The organization has grown into a global networking community and resource center for women professionals and entrepreneurs, coaching women through webTV, radio shows, MasterMind groups, teleclasses, seminars, and events. In 2011, she launched a nonprofit arm called Foundation of Empowered Women. Her current project is Homwork, providing luxury working/living spaces for business women on a full-time, part-time, or drop-in basis.
